- James Hersey (born July 15, 1988) is an Austrian-American musician living in Vienna who musically settles in the field of Electro Pop - Crossover.
biography
In 2013, he was nominated for the FM4 Award, which is awarded as part of the Amadeus Austrian Music Award. In 2014 his first own tour followed, in which he appeared in Germany.
Greater fame he gained in 2015 through the single How Hard I Try in collaboration with the music producer Filous, with which he first entered the Ö3 Austria Top 40 and in the German charts. With the song Coming Over by Dillon Francis and Kygo, in which Hersey took over the vocals, he rose in June 2016 to No. 1 of the US Billboard Dance Club songs. In November 2016, he returned to the Austrian and German charts with the single Miss You. It was awarded gold in April 2017 in Italy, and also reached gold status in Canada in June.
