- Make The Girl Dance is a French electronic music duo composed of Greg Kozo and Pierre Mathieu.
Make The Girl Dance is composed of Greg Kozo musician / producer, and Pierre Mathieu, former TV host on M6, France 2 and Canal +. Their first single, Baby Baby Baby, released May 12, 2009, is a huge buzz1. Indeed, the Parisian electro-rock duo Make The Girl Dance created a buzz by unveiling a very special clip. The title will be used for a Victoria's Secret commercial and the Guitar Hero 5 video.
The duet continues in June 2010 with its title Kill me, and in October with Wall Of Death.
In just three titles, success is already there for them with tours all over Europe (the Batofar for the 2010 music festival, MTV Party Ostend, Geneva, the Social Club in Paris) but also in Asia (Korea in April 2010 and Beijing, Shanghai and South Korea in January 2011) and in North America (Webster Hall in New York and Belmont in Montreal). More than their titles, it is their powerful and dancing mixes that make the band now appear at the top of the clubs in which they play.
October 31, 2011 sees the release of their debut album Everything Is Gonna Be Ok In The End and their 4th single Broken Toy Boy. The 2012 tour will go through the USA, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Europe and part of South America.
Their second album, 'Extraball', was released on May 4, 2015. Composed and recorded in Los Angeles, mixed in Paris and mastered by Alex Gopher, 'Extraball' is pop, electro and always as uninhibited. With featurings like Ornette, JoeyStarr, Gavin Turek, Yo! Majesty, Solange The Fringe, ...
The first single 'Yéyé (Ooh la la)' feat Ornette was released on March 30, 2015. Three more singles and videos are announced in 2015-2016 ('Mad Clap', 'Candy Store', 'Woo Hoo'), and one tour will follow all year in dj set in France (Paris, Lyon, Angouleme, Bordeaux, Toulouse), but also in Tokyo, Seoul, Geneva, New York, Barcelona, Berlin, Warsaw ...
