- Dawn of Demise is a Danish death metal band from Silkeborg, which was founded in 2003.
story
The band was founded towards the end of 2003. A short time later, the first appearances followed with groups such as Suffocation, Nile, Six Feet Under, Deicide, Exodus, Psycroptic and Yyrkoon. The band also recorded their debut album called Hate Takes Its Form in a small studio in their hometown. As a guest singer Jakob Bredahl (Hatesphere) was also represented on the album. The album was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen in his Hansen Studios. After the band had signed a contract with Deepsend Records, the album was released on this label in 2007. For the next two albums A Force Unstoppable (2010) and Rejoice in Vengeance (2012), the band moved to Unique Leader Records.
style
According to the band's Myspace page, the group was influenced by artists such as Suffocation, Nile, Six Feet Under, Pyrexia, Internal Bleeding, and older Cannibal Corpse. Florian Krapp of Metal Hammer attributed Hate Takes Its Form to Brutal Death Metal, but the guttural vocals are extremely deep. In the songs you will also find many breakdowns, as well as varied solos. In addition there are fast passages as well as some quiet seconds.
