- The Super Elegant is a musical duo founded in San Francisco (California) in 1995 by the Mexican Milena Muzquiz and the Argentine Martiniano López Crozet. The Super Elegants have created their original style defined by the press as 'Mariachi Punk'.
Race
In 1998 they signed with BMG Mexico and recorded their first album entitled 'Devorame.' In 1999 they moved to Los Angeles and wrote their second album 'Channelising Paradise' with the success of the song '16' they have filmed several music videos and have participated in international music festivals. Milena and Martiniano have also written 6 plays presented at museums such as the Whitney Museum in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago, the Baltic of New Castle, the Vermelho Museum in São Paulo and the MOCA of Los Angeles. They have collaborated with many other contemporary artists such as Clegg & Guttmann, Assume Vivid Astro Focus and Miguel Calderon. They have participated in music festivals such as Vive Latino in Mexico City, Come on in England and Los Angeles Street Fair.
