2011 album, the fifth solo album from the artist formerly known as Sporty Spice (and one fifth of Spice Girls). From opener and title track 'The Sea' a downtempo pacifier, complete with crashing waves and a lulling string section to the roughed up Alanis Morisette-esque 'Beautiful Mind', Melanie C evokes multiple musical identities with this impressive album.
