- Flamman & Abraxas is a Dutch / American duo, consisting of Jeroen Flamman and Jeff Porter, which mainly deals with producing hardcore. They are the producers of, among others, the Party Animals, the Mini Animals, 2 Uninterested (Tekno Mafia) and formerly of the jump-act Patrick Jumpen.
At the end of the eighties, the duo started turning and producing house under the name Fierce Ruling Diva. With this act they flew all over the world to perform, from Mexico to Russia. However, the big breakthrough comes in 1995, when they make a radio mix of 'I Want to be Hippy' by Technohead. The record will be a number 1 hit in the Netherlands and Germany, among others. This yields many bookings in Germany, where not much later the act Party Animals is 'born'. With this group they score three number 1 hits in a row in 1996, several top 10 quotations are achieved and the first albums of the group rise to the highest regions of the album hit lists. In 1996 and 1997 a number of singles are released under their own name and together with MC Remsy and MC Lynx a number of big hits are scored.
In 1999, Flamman & Abraxas, together with writer Jan Rot, are responsible for Double Date's 'E-mail to Berlin'. This single was submitted as a candidate for the Eurovision Song Contest of that year. The singers, however, do not know how to sing a note on live television and the song becomes final at the National Song Festival.
After that it was quiet for a while around Flamman & Abraxas. In 2000 the first attempt for a comeback from the Party Animals failed, but two years later it did. In the meantime several singles of the group have been produced, but a big hit has not yet happened.
In 2007 Flamman & Abraxas started the collaboration with jumpact Patrick Jumpen. The single 'Holiday' won the Top 5, and the second single 'The Secret' also won the Top 40. Also an album called 'One Man Army' was released.
In addition to producing, both gentlemen are also active as DJs, both together and solo. They could be seen at parties like Thunderdome, Hellraiser and Mysteryland.
