- グロリア・エステファン（Gloria Estefan、出生名：Gloria Maria Fajardo、1957年9月1日 - ）は、キューバ生まれでアメリカの歌手。
略歴
父親はかつての大統領だったフルヘンシオ・バティスタのボディガードを勤めるなど優秀なキューバ軍人として活躍していたが、革命後の1960年に家族と共にマイアミに移住。亡命後、父親は米軍に入隊し母親は教師になった。グロリアは私立のカトリック系の高校を経て、奨学金を得てマイアミ大学に入学、心理学とフランス語を専攻した。彼女は英語・スペイン語・フランス語に堪能だった為、大学在学中にCIAから語学担当スタッフとしてスカウトされたほど優秀な学生であった。
1975年に、後の夫となるエミリオ・エステファンが率いるバンド「マイアミ・ラテン・ボーイズ」に参加し、1978年9月2日にエミリオと結婚。バンドは「マイアミ・サウンド・マシーン」と改名して1980年代に『Dr.beat』『Conga』など数々のヒットを飛ばし、1988年には「グロリア・エステファン&ザ・マイアミ・サウンド・マシーン」と表記するようになった。
夫婦共に親日で新婚旅行は熱海温泉。1990年松田聖子の全米進出の際はプロデューサーとして曲作りに参加。
順調にヒット曲を重ねたグロリアだが、1990年3月、乗車中のバスにトラックが追突する交通事故に遭遇。脊髄に重傷を負うが、1年間のリハビリの末に復帰した。
1994年にはシルヴェスター・スタローン主演映画「スペシャリスト」の主題歌『TURN THE BEAT AROUND』を歌った。
1996年にアトランタで開催されたアトランタオリンピックの閉会式では『Reach』を大観衆の前で歌った。
NFLのマイアミ・ドルフィンズの少数株主でもある。
2015年、大統領自由勲章を受章。
