在美国加利福尼亚州旧金山的Chanticleer /'ʃæntɪkliɹ/是一个全日制男性古典声乐合奏在美国。在过去的三十年中，它以其对文艺复兴时期音乐的解读而享誉盛名，但是它也演奏了爵士乐，福音音乐和其他有创意的新音乐，并被广泛称为“声乐管弦乐队”（The Orchestra of Voices）。它被命名为杰佛里乔's的“坎特伯雷故事集”中的“清唱歌鸡”。
历史
Chanticleer于1978年由男高音歌手Louis Botto创立，直到1989年才与该组合唱歌，并于1997年担任艺术总监直到艾滋病逝世。作为音乐学的研究生，Botto发现他的许多中世纪和文艺复兴时期的音乐学习没有被执行，因此，他组成了一个全男性合奏团体来演奏这个音乐，因为它在文艺复兴时期是传统的唱法。
