早年

莫特诞生于1970年10月25日，在阿拉巴马州的加兹登，作为一个盲人，他在附近的Attalla长大。他参加了杰克逊维尔州立学院，在那里他花了他的音乐教育的头三年，而他转移到田纳西州纳什维尔的贝尔蒙特大学，在那里他荣誉音乐毕业。
