Moonlite Solitude

I once knew an adolescent bore from foreign immigrants
The kid grew up to be poor but rich in intelligence
Only few saw him as being more than lonely and benevolent
Not seeing beyond the mask secretly hiding 'em
Obliviously concealing the blades confining 'em
Letting him deceive himself leaving innocence behind 'em
Gradually, the years passed and he ceased to care
He casually spoke clear, diseased by despair
Friendship was but a word, and it meant nothin' real
Endless solitude, like cruelty in Ivan Hill
Reckless emotionally, a dog bitin' to kill
If you could stare in his mind, there's a scared child at times
Who stood there dried of life, can only cry outta strife
feels love is pointless, he's smart but always disappointed
Always asking 'what did I do?' 'should I end this with the .92?'
He didn't, though he tried to, He loved life, despite what he cried through

Blind to truth solitude granted insanity
Clouding and disallowing him to see in clarity
Solitude blinds and confines minds causing cries
And lonesome aligns with lies and takes life

But then something happened, and it was life-changing
A friend was made who's presence was untimed and amazing
Like clouds from heaven, fine fortune like number seven
Kindly beholding an expression holding no aggression
She approached with zero tension, love her sole intention
Didn't encroach his dimension, didn't draw attention
She carried friendship, maybe social redemption
His life changed, he began to feel he was normal
no longer horrible, had grown stronger and felt immortal
His world entered a portal, a heaven-like wormhole
His incident emotions fell significantly open
No longer horribly stoic, conquered being socially phobic

She gave him his first kiss, and one reason on earth to exist
Then one morning while texting, said something perplexing
'we must have a chat soon' had him thinkin all afternoon
He wanted to confess love soon, and found this time opportune

Blind to truth solitude granted insanity
Clouding and disallowing him to see in clarity
Solitude blinds and confines minds causing cries
And lonesome aligns with lies and takes life

When he saw her he was delighted, and went to her frightened
He would start out and speak first, his heart about to be heard
although he may have rehearsed, it was hard to say these words
'I used to think love wasn't true but you need to know I love you
I Can't breathe for anyone but youm and no one is above you'
She smiled at what was explained and couldn't deny she felt the same
Her feelings were transformin', now she felt something for 'em
She saw past what others did not, love was what she intended on
fast forward a couple weeks
their love grew exponentially
it came to be no surprise the way they spent their lives
They would hang out since the sunrise and were separated by moonlight
They thought everything was perfect until one certain occurrence
One night while she was driving to see him a car collision left her bleeding
She was hit on the front end by a car goin' over 100
The car crash left her lungs collapsed and the paramedics came fast
But her pain was very far from what he felt in the ER
When she was confirmed deceased and when he was strugglin' to breathe
She was the victim of a drunk driver and was not a lucky survivor
So he shed his tears, couldn't go on thinking clear
And when he got home, he let loose, took one vast view and said 'I'm through'
