According to Plato in his Aristophanes, when the two halves of a whole, two humans, two soulmates, come together as one, their power and strength is beautiful and overwhelming even to the gods. For that reason, you and me were split down the middle leaving us all searching for our other half. What is that chasm that pulls us apart? What can be done to become whole once again? These questions and this search and desire to put our pieces back together is what Plato called Love.
