this song is an incredible tapestry of the battle raged upon cross that day on Golgatha`s hill. In my studies that your picture is that of the Psalmist. The Gospels are penned from the foot of the cross looking up at Jesus. The Psalmist sees the battle raging in spiritual terms...Satan and his angels huring every dart in their arsenal at the dying Christ.
