HIM（原名His Infernal Majesty，译:恶魔陛下乐团） 是来自芬兰赫尔辛基的摇滚乐队，于1991年由Ville Valo（主唱），Mikko Lindström（简称Linde，吉他手）和Mikko Paananen（简称Mige，低音吉他手）组成。而Mika Gas Karppinen（简称Gas，鼓手）和Janne Burton Puurtinen（简称Burton，键盘乐器手）则分别于1999年同2001年加入。乐队一共推出了七张专辑大碟，包括最新于2010年2月推出的Screamworks: Love in Theory and Practice, Chapters 1–13。

在2006年9月5日，美国唱片业协会向HIM发出金唱片证明，证明了乐队的第五张专辑Dark Light在美国一共出售了500,000张。HIM推出的七张专辑中有五张荣获芬兰的白金唱片，当中第二张专辑Razorblade Romance获得芬兰的双白金唱片及德国的白金唱片。

早期发展 （1991-1997）

在1991年，HIM正式成立。乐队开初只是翻唱组合Kiss合唱团、Black Sabbath（黑色安息日）、Depeche Mode（潮流尖端）、Type O Negative及Danzig和歌。在1992年，HIM录了一只Demo，名为Witches and Other Night Fears，只有Valo才有拷贝。

由于不同的纷争，早期乐队的成员不停在转换。在1995年，乐队就只剩下了现任主音Ville Valo、吉他手Linde及低音吉他手Mige。1995年后期，乐队再灌录了一只Demo，名为This Is Only The Beginning。这只Demo一共推出了100只，于赫尔辛基的特定商店发售。这只Demo内所有歌曲都只有鼓声和吉他声伴随着主唱Ville Valo的歌声。1996年，乐队第一张EP，666 Ways to Love:Prologue在芬兰发行1000张。唱片封面的女士正是主唱Ville Valo的妈妈。这只EP是在Hiili Hiilesmaa监制下于赫尔辛基的录音室Finnvox Studios录制。
