法兰兹‧费迪南 (Franz Ferdinand) 是一队英国独立摇滚组合，2001年在苏格兰的格拉斯哥组成。乐团名称是按奥地利的费迪南大公而名。乐团成员包括Alex Kapranos (主唱、吉他手)、Bob Hardy (低音吉他手)、Nick McCarthy (吉他手、键盘手及和音)以及Paul Thomson (鼓手及和音)、参与第五张专辑的新成员则是Dino Bardot（吉他手、和音） 以及 Julian Corrie（键盘手、合成器及和音）

成立

2016年7月，乐团宣布吉他手Nick McCarthy为了专注于家庭和其他音乐兴趣，不会参与录制和巡回他们的下一张专辑。但乐团强调Nick将来可能会重新加入乐团。

2017年5月19日，在北美巡回开始的前两天，乐团宣布了他们两位新的乐团成员。吉他手是前1990s的成员Dino Bardot、负责键盘及合成器则是Julian Corrie。

2017年10月25日，乐团发表了单曲'Always Ascending'，而它同时也会是即将于2018年2月9日发行的第五张录音室专辑名称。
