新進樂團以首張專輯在發行首週就演出空降全美排行榜冠軍的盛況，可是很罕見，「Lady Antebellum (懷舊女郎)」樂團做到了！接著，他們的第二張專輯，照樣重現空降奪冠的氣勢，證明了這支來自納許維爾的樂團可不是一戰成名、然後就消聲匿跡的組合。相反的，他們與樂迷之間的情感共鳴越來越強，強到他們的第二張專輯『Need You Now (想念你)』的首週銷量（48 萬張）較首張同名專輯『Lady Antebellum』的首週銷量（四萬 7000 張）成長了十倍之多，專輯中的首支單曲「Need You Now」更全面征服樂迷的心，這首歌不僅蟬連了全美抒情榜與電台點播榜的冠軍，還同時在全美熱門單曲榜、流行單曲榜、Top 40 主流單曲榜上搶攻亞軍席次，並創下三白金的單曲銷售紀錄。現在，懷舊女郎將帶著這張榮登全美開春至今、銷售冠軍的專輯『Need You Now』正式進軍全世界。

懷舊女郎成軍於 2006 年，團員包括了鄉村歌手「Linda Davis」的女兒「Hillary Scott」（女主唱╱詞曲創作），創作型歌手「Josh Kelly」的弟弟「Charles Kelly」（男主唱╱詞曲創作），以及他同校好友「Dave Haywood」（和聲╱樂器演奏）。樂團在 2007 年七月與 Capitol 唱片公司簽約，同一年，樂團獲邀在鋼琴音樂家「Jim Brickman」的抒情暢銷曲「Never Alone」擔任演唱，還為 MTV 頻道的實境影集【The Hills (比佛利拜金女)】跨刀創作插曲「Miles Away」，樂團的首張同名專輯『Lady Antebellum』於 2008 年春季登場，樂團在專輯中將流行鄉村音樂、與 1960 年代的節奏藍調樂風做調和，然後再配搭女聲主唱、男女合唱、重唱等多樣的演唱方式，帶來不同的聽覺趣味，他們以此張專輯成為自 1964 年以來，第一組以首張專輯、隨即空降鄉村專輯榜冠軍的樂團。首張專輯同時搶進全美流行專輯榜 Top 4，專輯中的單曲「I Run To You」不但登上鄉村榜冠軍，同時也打進熱門單曲榜 Top 40。樂團在 2009 年入圍葛萊美獎「最佳新進藝人」，隨後更以「I Run To You」一曲贏得 2010 年葛萊美「最佳鄉村樂團演唱」獎項肯定！

懷舊女郎在 2010 年獲得葛萊美獎加持後，趁勢推出第二張專輯『Need You Now』，專輯裡頭的首支單曲「Need You Now」，描述一對已經分手的戀人、難掩心中對於情感的渴望，在午夜時分於對方答錄機上、所留下的心情告白。這首歌曲引起全美樂迷熱烈迴響，蟬連全美抒情榜與電台點播榜雙料冠軍，單曲更獲三白金銷售認證！整張專輯就如同首發單曲的感覺，均衡地揉合了流行搖滾樂的熱力、與鄉村民謠的動人情感。其實「Hillary Scott」、「Charles Kelly」與「Dave Haywood」三人，在過去四年來、幾乎是每天聚在一起，不是一起寫歌、就是一起巡迴演唱，所以當他們在籌錄這張專輯時，彼此在歌曲創作過程中、互動更加緊密，經常可以在歌曲的情感創作層面上，達到近乎心有靈犀一般的共鳴，甚至還會在寫歌空檔中，針對每一個人在情感方面所遇到的問題進行討論，宛如像是小型情感諮詢聚會。

專輯請到縱橫納許維爾樂界超過 30 年，曾經以「The Dixie Chicks」樂團的 1998 年專輯 『Wide Open Spaces』與 1999年專輯『Fly』、兩度獲得葛萊美製作人大獎的 Paul Worley，掌舵製作。首發冠軍單曲「Need You Now」勾勒出分手情人在渴望與絕望間的思念地帶，此外，專輯裡還有描述從過往的回憶之中、找到足以喚醒人生的智慧的最新動人抒情單曲「American Honey」。

2012年在第54屆葛萊美獎上，他們以《We Own The Night》獲得了最佳鄉村專輯獎。
