Heart That's Pounding' is the third album from Sally Seltmann. An award-winning songwriter and singer, Sally has previously released albums and performed under the name 'New Buffalo'. She is well known both locally and internationally as the writer of Feist's hit song '1234', for which Sally was awarded an APRA award for 'Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year' in 2008. A love of timeless pop music has informed Sally's new release. While creating the album, Sally was listening to songs like The Bangles' Eternal Flame and Manic Monday, and Carly Simon's You're So Vain. 'I wanted to create songs with a classic radio sing-a-long feel,' says Sally. Tracks like Dream About Changing and Sentimental Seeker have a bounding life force, and there are darker shades of quiet throughout the album, giving tunes like 5 Stars, Happy and On The Borderline a not-quite-what-they-seem edge. This Bonus Edition of Sally's critically acclaimed 2010 album 'Heart That's Pounding' features three Bonus Tracks, including the stunning 'You're Always'. The song - which is produced by Sally's husband Darren Seltmann (The Avalanches) is recognisable for its placement in the 2011-2012 Interflora Campaign.
