A Tale of Two Dragons
i'm beginning to slip back and forward
between reality and fiction
i never thought i'd reach this place

I just want to take samples of them in labeled bodies
and hop in the old car that i've found
and hit full throttle
now i know that sounds really fast
but believe me when i say

and that little bee had me thinking of honey
and how yummy that would be in my tummy
and so i came across some odd colored flowers
and i made some honey in about an hour
i jarred those up too and i continued on my way
i cam across an old man in my travels
and this is what he had to say
be warned young lad
for the town you are about to reach
is cursed by an old hag
and though she is long dead
her pet dragon burdens the land in her stead
no on the inside i was very scared
but on the outside i pushed back my
long wavy hair
i said excuse me sir
did you just see a blur
no i stood my ground instead
even after these words that you have said
now i humbly accept your quest
and i'm prepared
for it to cost nothing less
than my best
he began to speak again
but i quickly cut him off

but the way i was running
in my short shorts

so i finally came to the town
and there i reached the town square
i got everyones attention
so that they were stuck in a stare

this dragon of yours i will slay
thus the curse will be lifted
and your town can find a better day
believing it to be truth
they dressed me up
in sword, armor, and a shield
and they sent me on the beast way
there i came to the place where the beast lay

but my new found bravery
commanding them to stay
i un-sheathed my sword
and i crept up close to the beast
but he must have smelled me
because he awakened ready for a feast
i quickly stammered and swung my sword
but he seemed un-entertained
in fact
he seemed rather bored
so i began to taunt
bad idea because he began to stomp
i blocked his fire with my shield
are fighting pushed us out into a wide open field
there i could see the beast for what he really was
he was grey and boring
the very sight of him was like

trying to sleep next to an old man snoring
now i don't think the two are actually relatable
and thats still kind of debatable but

Thinking quickly i took out the jars of honey
and i through it on the beast
he became sticky
in fact he became angry
he flicked me
but i recovered from my fall
and then i stood up
like a man
real tall
well in comparison to the beast still rather small
i took out the jars of colors
and i took it
and i threw it on the beast missing none of its scales
from its head to its tail
and the beast became calm
you see no longer was the beast boring
a full ten minutes
its own body it spent exploring
he looked into my eyes
and his
his were glistening
it was quiet
and it was is if
all of the silence
had life's answers
me and the beast were just there
listening
everything had changed
even the day
once a gloomy day
but now the sun shown brightly through
interrupting as if
it had something very important to say
like
hey guys
ugh sun here
you think maybe you could
ugh cut the shit
and we did
we did cut the shit
but being a dragon
and doing what dragons do
he took a snap at me
so of course
i stabbed him in the head
and well now hes dead
