Carmine Appice collaboration sounds like!
Pat Travers, who released several successful heavy blues guitar albums
under his own name in the 1970s 80s, joins up with Vanilla Fudge
drummer Carmine Appice and flamboyant session bassist TM Stevens to
play a blistering set recorded live at the House of Blues.
Travers & Appice are true giants of the 1970s blues rock movement; both
are talented musicians who have played with the likes of Jeff Beck, Rod
Stewart, Cactus, Vanilla Fudge, and Glen Hughes.
The playing is electrifyingly raw and the sound is consistently fresh,
with big beats and muscular guitar punctuated by scorching solos. These
musicians give it their all, and are obviously enjoying themselves on stage;
their sonic chemistry is undeniable!
