This Chicago-based quartet decided to go on hiatus in 2007 following the loss of member Chris Rogner and a tour through Japan, where the band has found much success. But three years later, Allister signed to Universal Japan and announced its comeback via its fourth album, Countdown to Nowhere. The 12-track project features several references to Japan, particularly the track 'Tokyo Sunrise,' along with a cover of the Jackson 5's 'I Want You Back.' The record also represents this pop-punk group's first full-length since 2005's well-received Before the Blackout.
