Hi, this is Brad, Keyboardist for Stabilizer, and you're about to hear the Mission Statement for this album. If you're hearing this, then it probably means you've recieved this album for free. If you've purchased this album, thank you for supporting our efforts to release music independently.
Alright now Let's cut the crap. The music business is a social and financial ladder. It makes me sick to my stomach that bands and artists have to spend more time socializing, or raising more funds to buy their success rather than put effort into their sound. Now this is not the fault of the artists, it is just the way the established industry works. The album you are listening to now, A Project Called Red by Stabilizer, is going to be an experiment in trying to gain widespread exposure without climbing any social ladders or spending copious amonts of money in order to buy the attention of industry bigwigs. instead of play that game, I'm going to encourage everyone who enjoys this album to copy and share it in any form they can.
That's right. Copy this album in any way, shape or form that you choose, and give it to someone. I hope that by encouraging the listeners to do this, we can bypass the loops set by the traditional music industry for artists to jump through. I don't want the attention of an industry executive somewhere who is concerned with signing a band that will make him or her a lot of money.
