they were unregenerate (spiritually dead)
the same will happen to those who shun The One Preeminent (JESUS!!!)
who's judging the nations
punishing pagans
when the Son comes with His saints, nothing can phase Him
He'll spill the blood of cats who loved to boast
they filled their cup of wrath to the uttermost (1st Thess. 2: 16)
and Joshua's conquest
was a slaughtering contest
a lot was accomplished: they were brought to the Promised Land
by Yahweh's conquering Sovereign Hand
we'll too be brought by Him who's both God and Man
when Joshua crossed the Jordan River
he was commanded to put the sword to sinners
well, how much more will Christ the Warrior
