- Bal-Sagoth是1989年成立於英格蘭約克郡謝菲爾德的交響樂黑金屬樂隊。
主唱/作詞者拜倫·羅伯茨（Byron Roberts）最初是由一個具有強烈死亡金屬元素的史詩/交響樂黑金屬樂隊形成的，他從羅伯特·E·霍華德（Robert E. Howard）的短篇小說“巴爾薩格的神”中得到了“巴爾薩格斯”的名字。他們的第一個演示錄製於1993年，Bal-Sagoth從此發行了三張Cacophonous唱片專輯和三張Nuclear Blast專輯。
