- 桃花心木拉什是由吉他手弗蘭克·馬里諾領導的加拿大搖滾樂隊。樂隊在二十世紀七十年代已經流行起來，加入了California Jam II和Aerosmith，Ted Nugent和Heart等樂隊。桃花心木拉什形成於蒙特利爾在1970年。
樂隊可能是最著名的馬里諾飆升的主音吉他，與Jimi Hendrix的演奏非常相似。樂隊的長期成員包括貝司手Paul Harwood和鼓手Jimmy Ayoub，以及Frank的兄弟Vince。弗蘭克馬力諾是樂隊的唯一連續成員。從二十世紀七十年代末開始，這個團隊錄製和遊覽弗蘭克·馬力諾和桃花心木拉什。
音樂風格
Mahogany Rush的音樂多種多樣，從布魯斯搖滾，迷幻搖滾，放克搖滾（風格在樂隊早期發行時最流行）等類型到後期職業中更為標準的硬搖滾/重金屬風格。 Marino自己把樂隊的聲音描述為“感恩的死亡符合爵士樂”。
開端
為了獲得媒體的關注，原唱片公司創造了一個虛構的故事，弗蘭克·馬力諾在樂隊開始之前，曾經在精神病院呆了一段時間，服用了迷幻藥，並由吉米·亨德里克斯（Jimi Hendrix）視察過。這讓他有了靈感，就像他在第一張專輯中所做的一樣，非常貼近Jimi Hendrix的風格。當第三張專輯“奇怪的宇宙”被錄製時，這種填補公眾購買新型Jimi Hendrix風格音樂的方法已經完善。
