戈登·詹姆斯·莫特（Gordon James Mote）（1970年10月25日出生）是美國基督教國家歌手，鋼琴家和崇拜領袖。他生來就是盲人。他發行了八張專輯。他的專輯不要讓我失望（2007）是他在Billboard圖表上的突破。

早年

莫特誕生於1970年10月25日，在阿拉巴馬州的加茲登，作為一個盲人，他在附近的Attalla長大。他參加了傑克遜維爾州立學院，在那裡他花了他的音樂教育的頭三年，而他轉移到田納西州納什維爾的貝爾蒙特大學，在那裡他榮譽音樂畢業。
