- Powerwolf是由Charles和Matthew Greywolf於2003年創立的德國權力金屬樂隊。這個團體以黑暗的主題和圖像，無論是音樂還是抒情，都是傳統權力金屬音樂的反面，包括使用屍體塗料，哥特式色調作品以及關於羅馬尼亞狼人和吸血鬼傳奇以及黑暗宗教故事的歌曲。

2012年，Powerwolf發行了兩張專輯。首先是Wolfsnaechte遊覽EP，與神秘的預言，風暴戰士和孤獨的狼的分裂的EP。這個EP有一個以前沒有發行過的Powerwolf曲目“活在夢魘中”。這張EP的副本最初是在購買Powerwolf's Wolfsnaechte Tour的門票的同時發行的，但是自行程結束之後，Powerwolf網站上已經有了這些副本。
Powerwolf 2012的第二張專輯“Alive in the Night”是樂隊的第一張現場專輯。它包含10個軌道，只是超過45分鐘的長度。它與2012年4月發行的德國版“金屬錘”一起發行。
Powerwolf於2013年7月18日發布了夜間傳教士。
在2014年，Powerwolf發布了“異端的歷史I”和“異端II的歷史”，其中包括Power Wolf的幾首管弦樂曲。 2015年7月17日，樂隊發布了“祝福與擁有”。
2017年10月10日，Powerwolf在Facebook上宣布，他們已經完成了第七張專輯的發行，並承諾在2018年的某個時候發行。
