- 孕育黑人音樂大本營的唱片名廠Motown旗下陣店之寶The Temptations，60-90年代中締造無數排行冠軍專輯與單曲，並獲Billboard雜誌統計為「有史以來全美最受歡迎的靈魂樂團」！The Temptations最初名為The Elgins，分別由The Primes及The Distants的團員所組成，前後團員來去更替20名之多！直到’64年請來超級創作/製作/演唱高手Smokey Robinson參與製作，才讓該團的發展出現轉機。’65年傳唱單曲'My Girl'登上冠軍，接連專輯『Temptin’ Temptations』與『The Temptations Sings Smokey』連莊奪冠，Temptations的知名度也從美國遠播全世界，至今仍有多部電影、廣告喜歡取用他們的歌曲作為配樂。2001年推出新作『Ear-Resistible』仍獲節奏藍調榜TOP16佳績，不僅是該團第57張專輯，更贏得第43屆葛萊美獎「最佳傳統節奏藍調專輯」！
