Catatonia是來自威爾士的另一支搖滾樂隊，他們在90年代中後期獲得了知名度。馬克·羅伯茨在1992年與Cerys Matthews見面後成立了樂隊。第一個主要陣容是鼓點的Dafydd Ieuan，鍵盤上的Clancy Pegg，吉他的Owen Powell和低音的Paul Jones。他們錄製了兩首EP，小叮噹和胡克。
