The Platters: 團員包括了五個黑人歌手，四男一女。這支合唱團成立於1953年，本 來是一支黑人男聲四重唱，由Tony Williams擔任主唱。著名的製作 人Buck Ram非常欣賞他們的和聲，於是跟他們簽下了經紀約，並且 決定替他們增加一位女性團員調和一下，這才變成了五重唱。

1955年，Platters接連著以「Only You」和「The Great Pretender」 大紅大紫，很快的就成了國際知名的超級合唱團，各地的邀約幾乎使 他們應接不暇，演唱的足跡遍及世界各地。由於他們擅長以優美的和 聲演唱抒情的歌曲，而且曾經先後成功的翻唱了好幾首30和40年 代的經典。


派特斯合唱團（英語：The Platters），又譯「派達斯」合唱團、「唱碟」合唱團，又俗稱「五黑寶合唱團」，是於1952年成立的演唱組合，五位成員分別是：Tony Williams、David Lynch、Paul Robi、Herb Reed、和 Zola Taylor。派特斯合唱團也是流行音樂史上第一支在熱門流行榜上擁有冠軍歌曲的黑人合唱團體。在大中華地區，他們演唱的Only you和Smoke gets in your eyes最為人所熟知。
