自2009年11月《Glee: The Music, Volume 1》電視原聲帶第一輯，於多國快速拿下白金銷售，衝破百萬門檻。隨後密集發行的作品，外加特定主題式特輯，至今全球已超越超過1100萬張專輯銷量、3600萬單曲數位下載量，更以多達156首單曲擠進告示牌百大單曲榜的成績，締造Billboard歷史新紀錄！
繼2010年Glee成員齊心推出《The Music, The Christmas Album》高唱耶誕佳音，輕鬆奪下白金認證，登記美國季軍、加拿大冠軍佳績。2011年再接再厲發行《The Music, The Christmas Album Vol.2》第二輯，帶來耳熟能詳的聖誕歌曲外，更獻唱2首全新原創曲目！開場由天后瑪麗亞凱莉的〈All I Want for Christmas Is You〉揭開歡樂序幕；謝幕曲則以1984年由Bob Geldof和Midge Ure率領群星為衣索比亞飢荒兒童籌款的〈Do They Know It's Christmas?〉結尾，充滿撼動人心的感動；另外在第三季開拍前，製作團隊尋找新面孔而舉辦The Glee Project(歡樂合唱爭霸戰)實境秀，雀屏中選的參賽者也於此輯獻聲演唱。
包括：冠軍得主Damian McGinty獨唱〈Blue Christmas〉、同拿冠軍的Samuel Larsen和Cory Monteith加上Mark Salling兩大帥哥過癮互飆〈Santa Claus Is Coming To Town〉；亞軍Lindsay Pearce和Alex Newell則一同在〈Do You Hear What I Hear?〉獻聲演唱。特別編曲的〈Extraordinary Merry Christmasn〉以電子搖滾的流行風格呈現、鋼琴揭起序幕的〈Christmas Eve With You〉則是手動聽的抒情小品，今年就讓歡樂合唱團再次為歌迷獻上兼具感恩、溫馨、又歡樂的新舊經典耶誕曲，一起渡家佳節吧！
