With so many evidences of self-delusion, one may wonder how we are to proceed by self-induced and self-devised effort. As mind beings, we have the ability and choice to see beyond the apparent illusions of the senses. In spite of many failures, if we choose to keep trying, we will learn that the perfectibility of human nature is merely possible.
We watch burning ashes of ashes.
We watch red lights, grey smoke, invisible twilight.
Illuminate and bright, self-born retires, sun has left the sky.
The end has never been so close, from Earth to the dark empty space, there's a black sun.
Sky is grey, walls are white, it's cold, so cold, as in the wild great North.
Kingdom is black and white. Rise, Holy Sun, Rise...
