不管是中文還是英文歌詞 都寫得太好了

從`Mister, I`ll make a man out of you`到`Somehow I`ll make a man out of you`，
再到`How could I make a man out of you?`，寫出了李翔一開始對訓練信心滿滿，到對木蘭受了自己的訓練仍無法表現的像個合格的戰士的失望，最後再配合劇情轉折木蘭靠著強大的意志力成為最優秀的戰士，將這節推向熱血高潮，歌和歌詞都寫得太棒了。

中文版歌詞也是，可以看到副歌的歌詞不但寫得非常熱血，好像看文字腦海就可以浮現出畫面，又不失中文的優美，歌曲的音律及韻腳都與原文歌詞同，讓中英文版聽起來毫無違和感。
而且對照回英文也完全符合原文歌詞的直譯，可以說翻譯及填詞的功底十分深厚，每聽一次都要讚嘆一遍。
但有一句好像寫錯了，滾石的MV是寫`男子漢 滿腔熱血像那野火壓境`，較貼近原文且更有張力。
