- Born of Osiris是来自美国伊利诺州芝加哥的金属乐团，成立于2003年。乐团名字经过几次变动，包括Diminished（2003–2004年）、Your Heart Engraved（2004–2006年）以及Rosecrance（2006–2007年），2007年定为目前的名字。团名的灵感来自于埃及神话中，冥王欧西里斯的儿子荷鲁斯的故事。
历史
2003年成立于芝加哥郊区，起先为一支金属核乐团，同地区的其他金属核乐团包括Veil of Maya、Monsters、Oceano以及For All I Am。
2007年，乐团与Sumerian Records签约。2009年7月7日，发行首张专辑《A Higher Place》，登上告示牌200大专辑榜第73名。之后乐团活跃于各个音乐节中，例如The Summer Slaughter Tour（2008年、2009年和2015年）和Music as a Weapon IV (2009)。2009年，乐团与Hatebreed、All Shall Perish、After the Burial、Caliban和Suffokate在全美展开共同巡演。同年12月，All Shall Perish的吉他手Jason Richardson加入乐团，开始创作并录制新专辑。

2015年8月，参加The Summer Slaughter Tour，与Arch Enemy同台。9月，赴俄罗斯演出。10月23日，发行第四张专辑《Soul Sphere》，登上告示牌200大专辑榜第67名。
