- Guster是来自马萨诸塞州波士顿的美国另类摇滚乐队。创始成员Adam Gardner，Ryan Miller和Brian Rosenworcel在马萨诸塞州梅德福市（Medford）的塔夫斯大学（Tufts University）就读时开始了练习班，并于1991年成立了乐队。成员们在当年八月的新生荒野取向计划中会面，两个月后在位于路易斯大厅宿舍公共区域的午夜咖啡馆咖啡馆里。在参加Tufts时，乐队住在马萨诸塞州萨默维尔的学院大道139号。
乐队在1995年的“Parachute”（1995）和“Goldfly”（1997）这两张专辑中一直保持着“地下”的地位，但1999年凭借第三张专辑“Lost and Gone Forever” ，成功入围了40强。乐队在第四张专辑“Keep It Together”中获得了温和的成功，在Adult 40（“Careful”和“Amsterdam”）中有两张单曲。 Joe Pisapia加入了Keep It Together的正式阵容及后续的“Ganging Up the Sun”，在Billboard 200上达到了25的顶峰。各种电视节目和电影都以乐队的音乐为特色，其中包括火星儿童（Martian Child）他们的歌曲“卫星”;窥;婚礼不速之客;生活作为一个家，这使得整个电影的乐队有几个典故。 O.C。而乐队的其中一首歌则被用于天气频道的广告中。
