- 1970年代后期至1980年代中期，Ultravox乐团融合了神采飞扬的流行吉他音色与活泼雀跃的电子合成器节奏脉动，塑造兼具华丽意境与动人情境的电子摇滚乐，在英伦流行电子摇滚新浪潮中引领风骚，写下五张英国金榜Top 10专辑以及包括：荣获全英音乐奖年度单曲大奖的英国金榜亚军曲〈Vienna〉，英国金榜第三名单曲〈Dancing With Tears In My Eyes〉等歌曲在内的畅销曲。乐团的灵魂人物Midge Ure在1984年与爱尔兰流行摇滚歌手Bob Geldof携手谱写一首关怀埃塞俄比亚饥荒问题的义唱单曲〈Do They Know It's Christmas?〉，随后在1985年7月13号推动全球四亿观众同步收看的“Live Aid”现场连线的义唱盛会，两人在2005年继续推动恳请世界八大国的领袖继续关注贫穷问题的“Live 8”全球连线演唱会。Midge Ure在80年代后期展开个人音乐旅程，谱写了包括在1998年获选为手表品牌Swatch广告曲的〈Breathe〉等代表作。
Midge Ure与Billy Currie在2008年10月间接受英国Absolute Radio电台的开台庆祝活动的邀约，前往Abbey Road Studio录音室进行不插电演唱会的演出，乐迷对这场演出的热烈回响激起了两人重启Ultravox乐团计划的念头，于是，Ultravox就在 2009年展开定名为“The Return To Eden Tour”的巡回演唱会，此一重新聚首的巡回演唱会在欧陆各国创造爆满票房，促成乐团踏进录音室灌录新专辑《Brilliant》，此张专辑重现了乐团在全盛时期的音乐火花，像是热血沸腾的〈Live〉，有着乐迷所熟悉的钢琴声线贯穿的大格局电子摇滚力作〈Flow〉，结合了热力歌声，饶富驾驭快感的节奏与令人悸动的电子乐线条而成的〈Brilliant〉，粉有网络e世代时尚感的摩登电子乐作品〈Rise〉，还有Ultravox乐团擅长营造宛如置身电影情节场景之中的电子乐风格代表作〈Remembering〉、〈One〉、〈Change〉，或是兼具电子乐辽阔视野与震撼情感力道的〈Life〉，洋溢着异国风情的〈Satellite〉，弥漫着阴险氛围的〈Hello〉，令人感到寒颤的心碎之歌〈Fall〉。
